Whimsical Ribbon Cake
This charming design features delicate wildflowers cascading across a smooth buttercream canvas, accented with a playful ribbon in your choice of pastel, muted, or neutral colors.
Customize it:
Buttercream Ribbon Color: Pick any soft hue to match your theme.
Wildflower Colors: Choose your favorites, subject to availability.
Need inspiration?
Neutral: Ivory flowers and greenery with a sage green or ivory ribbon.
Pasted: Soft pink, lavender, and yellow wildflowers with a dusty blue ribbon.
This design is also available in quarter or half sheet sizes.
After adding the cake to your cart, select a color scheme. If you're matching colors to a character-themed party, please specify the theme. We're also happy to create a color scheme based on your invitation or decor. Note that minor adjustments may be made to ensure the best version of your cake.

Lemon Blackberry Lavender - lemon cake layered with blackberry curd and lavender buttercream.
Almond Blackberry - white vanilla-almond cake layered with blackberry curd and vanilla-almond buttercream.
Chocolate Oreo - rich chocolate cake layered with chocolate ganache and Oreo buttercream.
Vanilla Oreo - golden vanilla cake with Oreos baked right in layered with semi-sweet chocolate ganache and Oreo buttercream.
Classic Birthday Cake - golden vanilla cake layered with bittersweet chocolate fudge buttercream.
Vanilla Vanilla - golden vanilla cake layered with vanilla buttercream.
Chocolate Chocolate - rich chocolate cake layered with bittersweet chocolate fudge buttercream.
Chocolate Raspberry - rich chocolate cake layered with raspberry infused chocolate ganache and vanilla buttercream.
White Chocolate Caramel - golden vanilla cake layered with white chocolate ganache and caramel buttercream.
Natural Red Velvet - delicious red velvet cake layers with a subtle cocoa-kissed hue (no artificial dyes!) layered with vanilla buttercream. If you prefer the traditional vibrant red color, we can add red food coloring upon request.
Twisted Natural Red Velvet - red velvet cake layers with a subtle cocoa-kissed hue (no artificial dyes!) layered with layered with chocolate ganache and white chocolate buttercream. If you prefer the traditional vibrant red color, we can add red food coloring upon request.

Ordering Guidelines
Online orders are available for pick-up on the dates listed in the drop-down window only. If your date is not listed, it is not available. Takes the Cake is home based microbakery, so availability is limited and may fill up quickly.
Pick-up is available on Fridays between 11a-5p and Saturdays between 9am-10:30am.
Flavor substitutions are not available for Online Shop orders; however, you may omit a filling or swap a flavored buttercream for vanilla. For fully custom flavors, please submit a Custom Inquiry and at least 2 weeks before pickup.
Takes the Cake is located in Salem, VA (about a mile from Sheetz on West Main). Pickup address will be provided in the confirmation email after purchase.
