After 20+ years of meticulous baking experimentation and testing, I've learned one golden rule: a delicious cake needs the perfect recipe, the right technique, and top-notch ingredients. The key? Quality ingredients! No shortcuts here—I promise, you'll taste the difference in every single bite.
Anniversary Tier
Feel free to stick with tradition and freeze the top tier—it'll still be delicious if wrapped properly. But if you'd rather not play freezer Tetris, we've got you covered! Takes the Cake offers a complimentary sweetheart cake baked fresh for your one-year anniversary.

Cake & Dessert Tastings
Cake Tastings are held throughout the year. Opt for to-go style in the comfort of your own home (or a fun date in the park!), or we can meet for a tasting and consultation over coffee!
Order a preset flight of the most popular flavors, create your own custom box, or try out a dessert bar flight!
Extra Servings
Need additional servings? I offer two-layer sheet cakes for crowds, or smaller kitchen cakes for a few extra servings. Kitchen cakes are undecorated 3-layer 8” rounds that serve 24, mean to be served from - you guessed it - the kitchen.

Say goodbye to the usual wedding cake letdown—it's time for a delicious upgrade! Takes the Cake buttercream is silky smooth, not-too-sweet european style, and cakes are always bursting with flavor and moisture.

Delivery
I love a good road trip! We’re happy to deliver within several hours of Roanoke. Delivery feeds are calculated based on time/mileage from the microbakery.
Note: There is a $500 order minimum to qualify for delivery during busy wedding seasons (May-June and Sept-Nov).
Also: Microwedding delivery is available within 50 miles, or you’re welcome to pick up!
